As a lifelong student of yoga, I believe that yoga encourages transformation, inward reflection and fearlessness. I am fortunate to have been able to study yoga with David Aukamp, Ruthann Martin (Springs Yoga), Mitchel Bleier (MB Yoga), Graham Fowler and Elizabeth Nix (Peachtree Yoga) and Doug Keller (Do Yoga). It is a gift to witness others as they find their own path through yoga and experience “enhanced sensation” through classes.
Combining passion for teaching music and practicing yoga, I have a patient method for instructing yoga students.
I'm a certified Yoga Alliance instructor in my 17th year of teaching and a 2003 graduate of Peachtree Yoga and the Atlanta Yoga Fellowship under the direction of Graham Fowler. My passion for yoga includes Deep tissue, Rolfing, and Thai Massage for use with private yoga sessions.
Finding space in which to enjoy our lives, we all have our own unique paths to follow.
I am honored to be able to assist yoga students with their journey and respect an individual's opportunity to find their own way.
Finding yoga only after a debilitating back injury, I regained an active lifestyle and discovered a calling. With a love of teaching and wellness, I committed to taking yoga to the next level and obtained my RYT 200 yoga teacher certification and am currently working towards my 500hr certification through Asheville Yoga Center. My focus is on helping make yoga accessible to people of all ages and abilities, so that they too can benefit from its countless life enhancing and healing qualities.
